Rowling announces new film inspired by the world of Harry PotterThe author will collaborate with Warner Brothers in a new series of films, the action will take place seventy years before the stories of the famous boy wizard Harry Potter, the first of which will be inspired by the book Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them.
Originally published in 2001, it is a kind of encyclopedia of magical creatures, supposedly written by Newt Scamander. The work is cited in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone as one of the textbooks of the young wizard.
